When to Use a 3-Pin Charging Cable
This cable is perfect when you need to charge away from a dedicated wallbox — at a relative's house, in a garage with no wallbox fitted, or as an emergency backup. Charging via a 3-pin socket is slower than a wallbox (around 8–12 hours for a full charge on most EVs) but is convenient and widely available.

⚠ Important: We recommend using this cable with a dedicated socket or a socket protected by an RCD. Always inspect the socket for damage before use. This cable is not suitable as a primary daily charging solution — for regular home charging, a dedicated wallbox with a Type 2 cable is recommended.
