Own a pub, shop or hotel? This brings people to you
A charge point isn't just for the driveway. For a venue with a car park, it's the reason a driver picks you over the place down the road — and it keeps them there while they spend.
Pubs & restaurants
EV drivers plan their stops around charging. Put a charger in your car park and you become the obvious choice for lunch or dinner — they eat while the car charges, which means a longer visit and a bigger bill. A 7.4kW unit adds roughly 25–30 miles of range per hour, so a meal is a genuinely useful top-up.
Shops & retail
Free or paid charging is a straightforward reason to choose your car park over the next one. Shoppers stay for the charge rather than rushing off, and with RFID access you decide who can use it — customers only, staff only, or open to all.
Hotels, B&Bs & holiday lets
EV charging is a filter on most booking sites now. A guest with an electric car will book the place that has one and skip the one that doesn't — and a car parked overnight is the perfect charging window. It's one of the cheapest ways to win bookings from the hotel next door.
Once your charge point is in, you can add EV charging to your Google Business Profile and list the site on charging maps such as Zap-Map. Google Maps lets drivers filter for places with EV charging, so your venue turns up in "EV charging near me" searches you'd never otherwise appear in — in front of people deciding where to stop, right now.
Thinking about one or several units for a site? We can supply with RFID access control for staff or customer-only charging, and OCPP 1.6 if you want to bill for charging.

At 32A single phase the unit delivers up to 7.4kW, which adds roughly 25–30 miles of range per hour on most EVs — so a typical 60kWh battery charges overnight. Output is selectable at 16A, 20A or 32A if the supply cannot take the full load.
Yes. A wall charger must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671 and local wiring regulations. The unit can be supplied with a CEE plug or hardwired — tell us which you need when you enquire.
Yes. The housing is rated IP66 — protected against dust and powerful water jets — in a UL94V-0 flame-retardant ABS+PC enclosure, so it is suitable for outdoor wall mounting in UK weather.
The app connects over Bluetooth or WiFi and lets you start and stop charging, set the current, and see live power, voltage, current and session time. RFID cards can restrict who is able to charge. A WiFi/4G version with OCPP 1.6 is available for workplace and commercial sites.
